Care guide
A few simple gestures to preserve the softness of the cotton, the brilliance of the embroidery and the relief of the copper Darss, season after season.
- 1
Sort before washing
Separate linen by colour and fabric. Close duvet covers to avoid snagging.
- 2
Wash at 30°C
Use a delicate cycle at 30°C with a mild detergent. Avoid bleach, which damages the fibres and colours.
- 3
Skip the fabric softener
Do not use fabric softener: it clogs sateen cotton and weakens the embroidery. A little white vinegar is enough to soften.
- 4
Dry gently
Air-dry in the shade where possible, or tumble dry on low heat. Remove the linen while still slightly damp.
- 5
Iron on the reverse
Iron at medium heat on the reverse side, especially over the embroidery and the copper Darss, to preserve the relief and the sheen.
